This year I have vowed to write more. More letters with postage, more journaling, to jot down more memories of real time family excellence ( for days when I do in fact forget), and here in my work space.
While in the past I have been thin in the blogging department, I have kept a hopeful list of sessions that I intended to share. So, starting with these lovelies, here is me two weeks into the new year and sharing! Yay me!
I loved everything about meeting them… their excitement, and the ease at which we laughed and captured their anticipation. Something that stood out to me from this session, that I think on often : trust in your photographer is a massive part of photos with feeling. If you are looking into artists that prioritize an honest, connected, and more lifestyle rendering of your time together, you have to find trust in them. True, it’s the artists job to gain that trust, but all the expectations and notions about who and what you will be in the session, have to be left in the car. Just be you…be honestly connected with your amazing people as only you do. Trust me. * wink * (see what I did there)
